Landfill Disposals Tax

Land Disposals Tax (LDT) replaced Landfill Tax in Wales from 1 April 2018. The Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) is responsible for the collection and management of this devolved Welsh Tax.

The WRA publishes statistics on LDT on a quarterly and annual basis.

Our quarterly statistics include summary data on: the weight and tax due on authorised disposals, by rate of tax; the weight of material relieved or discounted; and, the number of authorised sites and landfill site operators in Wales.
