Land Transaction Tax

Land Transaction Tax (LTT) replaced Stamp Duty Land Tax in Wales from 1 April 2018. The Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) is responsible for the collection and management of this devolved Welsh Tax.

The WRA publishes statistics on LTT on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Our monthly 'data only' publications provide initial estimates on transactions and tax due on those transactions. Further information on how to interpret these data can be found in the statistical publication linked below.
