As the demand increases for statistics and data to measure the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to change our data gathering and release practices, focussing efforts on priority analysis and statistics. https://gov.wales/statistics-and-research

Taxes devolved to Wales

The Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) is the tax authority for Wales. It is responsible for collecting and managing the first devolved Welsh taxes [Land Transaction Tax and Landfill Disposals Tax] from 1 April 2018.

The WRA is a producer of Official Statistics. Statistics relating to these devolved taxes are produced independently by the WRA Data Analysis team The statistical standards and policies used to create these statistics are available using the link below.

Statistics on each of the devolved taxes are available by clicking on the relevant tax.

We welcome feedback and comments to develop statistics on devolved taxes produced by the WRA. Email data@wra.gov.wales
