Road traffic

Statistics on the volume of traffic per billion vehicle kilometres. Road traffic is measured in terms of the distance the vehicles have travelled over the year. All motor vehicle traffic figures do not include pedal cycles whereas all traffic is motor vehicles and pedal cycles.

Data presented here include volume of road traffic by: road and vehicle classifications and local authority. It also includes data regarding new motor vehicle registrations.
