IndicatorIDIndicators covered:<br /><br />Social Inclusion<br />Indicator 1a. Fear of crime: percentage of people aged 50+ who report that their lives are greatly affected by fear of crime.<br />Includes: burglary, car crime and violent crime.<br />Note: The questions on worry about crime were only asked to a quarter of the BCS sample in 2008/09 . The apparent changes in worry about crime between 2007/08 and 2008/09 are not statistically significant.<br /><br />Active Ageing<br />Indicator 4. Participation in sport or leisure activities: participation by people aged 50+ in any sport or activity during a four-week period. Care needs to be taken when making comparisons between 2008-09 and previous years due to a change in survey methods.<br /><br />Social Care<br />Indicator 5. Receipt of community based services helping people to live at home: rate of people aged 65+ helped to live at home per 1,000 population aged 65+.
