[Collapse]Organisation22 Local Health Boards (LHBs) replaced the five Health Authorities, on 1 April 2003.<br /><br /> The Business Services Centres (BSCs) were established at the same time to provide shared services support to the Local Health Boards and other clients in NHS Wales.<br /><br />The Centre for Health Leadership Wales (CHLW) was established in May 2001 to provide a focal point for leadership development, primarily for NHS Wales. They provide a variety of programmes and activities to support individuals in their Continuing Professional Development. CHLW also provide consultancy services in Primary Care, ICT, Organisational Development and Organisational Psychology.<br /><br />Due to the reconfiguration of NHS Trusts on 1 April 1999 it is not possible to shoe data by NHS Trust, in a comparable form, for all years.<br /><br />During 2008 further Trust amalgamations took place, see notes for individual organisations.<br />[Filter]
