OrganisationDue to the reconfiguration of NHS Trusts on 1 April 1999 it is not possible to show data by NHS Trust, on a comparable basis, for all years.<br /><br />22 Local Health Boards (LHBs) replaced the five Health Authorities, on 1 April 2003.<br /><br />The Business Services Centres (BSCs) were established at the same time to provide shared services support to the Local Health Boards and other clients in NHS Wales.<br /><br />During 2008 further Trust amalgamations took place, see notes for individual organisations.<br />[Filtered]
