Data is sourced from the Low Vision database, maintained by primary care services in NHS Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP).Frequency of publication

The totals have been revised for patient referrals from low vision for 2014-17 due to the exclusion of the unknown category. This has resulted in the number decreasing by 1,936 (65.0%) for 2014-15, increasing by 2,152 (150.1%) for 2015-16 and increasing by 2,401 (164.5%) for 2016-17. Also, the totals for patient referrals to low vision have been revised for 2014-15 and 2017-18 with the number increasing by 48 (1.3%) for 2014-15 and decreasing by 16 (0.5%) for 2017-18.Title
