Cluster deprivation is based on the measure 'percentage of cluster population who live in the most deprived areas of Wales, measured by the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation (WIMD)'. Full details of this measure are described in a statistical article and additional data is published on StatsWales. The deprivation measure uses the WIMD 2019 and practice/cluster population data as at December 2021. The areas described as clusters in this table are groups of GP practices only and are sometimes referred to as GP collaboratives.
