General description

Data shows the number of consultations for each type of contraception service carried out in the financial year based on claims paid.
Bridging contraception service was collected for the first full year in 2023-24. Bridging contraception includes circumstances where someone’s first choice of contraception is not available at the time of initial consultation, a suitable 'bridging' method of contraception can be supplied to provide contraceptive cover until their preferred method can be commenced.
