While there will be some variability from month to month in the average number per working day, in some cases there may be larger than expected changes especially at cluster level.

General description

This shows monthly data for selected additional activities by measure (number or average number per working day) and area (health board and cluster).

Data collection and calculation

General practices have been required to submit data for selected additional activities via the Primary Care Information Portal (PCIP), from 1 July 2022, as a result of a quality improvement project contained in the 2021-22 Quality Assurance and Improvement Framework (QAIF).

Revisions information

Data for October 2023 to June 2024 have been revised in line with our planned revisions policy. There were small changes at Wales level with changes ranging between less than 0.1% and 2.9% for selected additional activities data.
