Data Provider: Welsh Government National Statistics Key Stage 4 Interim Measures by LEA, from 2018/19

This cube covers data published in the Welsh Government's annual "Examination Results" release. It provides information on the percentage of pupils in year 11 achieving qualifications in the core subjects (English/Welsh first language, Mathematics and Science). The annual release shows this data at Wales level, in this table, the figures are shown for regional consortia and local authorities. From 2017, a maximum of two vocational (non-GCSE) qualifications will count towards all threshold measures, depending on size of the qualification (i.e. no more than 40% of the threshold). For more information see the Web links.

None
[Collapse]FSMThe sum of pupils eligible and not eligible for free school meals does not equal the total number of pupils in Year 11 shown in Table 1. This is because the data in this table only includes pupils who we are able to match between the Welsh Examinations Database and the School Census. Independent schools, PRUs and EOTAS do not complete the school census and results for pupils in these schools are not included. [Filtered]
