Income deprivation by age

This page contains the Income deprivation indicator data split by age groups for a range of geography aggregations.

Please note that the area codes for the ‘Income Deprivation - Indicator data by Lower-Layer Super Output Area’ report are available in the accompanying OData. StatsWales OData guidance can be found in the ‘help’ section of StatsWales (link below).

This page also contains WIMD 2019 income and employment deprivation counts for different age groups and geographies (see section below, under ‘links’). This data was used as the numerators when calculating the income and employment domains for the 2019 Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation.
